Athanasios Papadas has a diverse international background spanning law, finance, business development, and legal data analysis. Among others, he has experience in third-party dispute funding as well as in legal technology. Business development has been a major component of his career across various roles in law and legal finance alike.
Before relocating to Toronto in 2015, he maintained a busy litigation practice in Greece, assisting public and private corporations as well as financial institutions with their corporate/commercial disputes, including civil enforcement proceedings.
Athanasios holds two Master of Laws (LL.M) degrees in International Business Law, and in Civil Procedural Law obtained at Osgoode Hall Law School and his Greek alma mater, respectively. Currently, he is completing his PhD thesis on the topic of international arbitration finance.
